What copying looks like

Copied word for word.

Product descriptions, service pages, guides. The strongest case there is, because the proof is the sentence itself.

Each tote is cut from undyed cotton canvas and stitched with a doubled seam at the handle, so it carries a full grocery run without stretching. Wash cold and it softens with every year of use.

We read your site the way a copier does.

We take the sentences only you would have written, search for them word for word, then open every page that comes back to make sure they are really there.

  • Reads your own pages first and sets aside anything repeated across them. Your template is not your writing.

  • Searches for your exact sentences and for the places your photographs appear.

  • Opens every result again and drops anything no longer on the live page before you see it.

Where a notice goes

Whoever copied you is rarely who can take it down.

A host, a registrar, a search engine or a marketplace can. We work out which one answers for each page, and send the notice to the address the law says counts.

Not every page goes to the same place. Some need two notices: one to take it off the site, one to take it out of search.

A proxy is one more hop, not a dead end

When a site hides behind a proxy, the complaint is forwarded and the real host named. We follow it through to the host rather than stopping at the proxy.

A copy can sit on a server on the far side of the world. Every match is held to the same test before you see it, and every removal is checked again after it happens.

The notice

Six parts. Every notice. No exceptions.

A notice missing any one of them does not legally put the host on notice. Ours cannot be produced incomplete. The system refuses.

  1. 1

The work that was copied§ 512(c)(3)(A)(ii)

Your page, by its address, and exactly what on it is yours.

  2. 2

    Where the copy is§ 512(c)(3)(A)(iii)

The address of every page using it, precise enough that the host can find it without writing back.

  3. 3

    How to reach us§ 512(c)(3)(A)(iv)

Contact details for the rights holder, or for us as their authorised agent.

  4. 4

    A statement of good faith§ 512(c)(3)(A)(v)

That the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law. Fair use is considered before this is signed.

  5. 5

Accuracy, under penalty of perjury§ 512(c)(3)(A)(vi)

That the notice is accurate and that whoever signs it is authorised to act for the owner.

  6. 6

    A signature§ 512(c)(3)(A)(i)

Physical or electronic, from someone authorised to act. Signed as your agent, the exposure is ours.

  • Priced before filing

The number is frozen when it is quoted. It cannot move afterwards, including by us.

  • Invoiced after we see it gone

We load the live page ourselves. Only then is an invoice raised.

  • Re-checked on day 7 and day 30

If it comes back on a counter-notice, the invoice is voided or refunded.

What it costs

You pay when the page comes down. Not before.

The risk sits with the people doing the work. If a host ignores the notice or the copy comes back, there is nothing to pay.

$95–$295

What we file and what we decline
  1. 01

    We cannot promise a removal.

Hosts, platforms and search engines decide, not us.

  2. 02

We do not promise a date.

Nobody in this business can, and the ones who do are guessing.

  3. 03

The other side can file a counter-notice.

If they do, the content can come back in 10 to 14 business days unless you take them to court.

  4. 04

Taking a page out of Google Search does not delete it from the website it is on.

    Those are two separate notices.

Questions

Asked plainly. Answered the same way.

Not here? Ask. The assistant answers only from this site’s pages and shows you which ones it used.

What does it cost?

Between $95 and $295 per page, depending on what has to be done, and you are told the exact number before anything is filed. You pay only if that page actually comes down. The free scan, opening a case, a case we decline, a notice the host ignores, and content that comes back on appeal all cost nothing.

Can you guarantee the page will be removed?

No, and nobody honestly can. Hosts, platforms and search engines make that decision, not us. What we can promise is that you are not billed when they say no. That is the only guarantee worth anything in this category.

How long does it take?

We do not give a date, because we do not control the host. Some act within a day, some take weeks, some never answer. Anyone quoting you a turnaround time is guessing. You will see every stage change in your portal on the day it happens.

Is the scan really free, and do you keep my data?

Really free, and no account is needed. We store the scan for 14 days so you can come back to the results, then it is deleted. We do not sell data and we do not email you unless you open a case.

What if the scanner shows a page that is actually mine?

Untick it. You tell us which sites you own during intake and we exclude them. Nothing is filed against anything you have not personally approved, page by page.

Can the other side find out who I am?

Yes, and you should decide knowing that. A notice carries the rights holder's name and address, because the statute requires it. Hosts commonly forward the notice to the site operator. Google publishes the requester name, the rights-holder name and the reported URLs to the Lumen database; contact details are withheld there. We tell you this before you authorise anything, not after.

What happens if they file a counter-notice?

The host must restore the content in 10 to 14 business days unless you start a court case. We tell you the day it arrives, your invoice is voided, and if you had paid we refund it. Whether to go further is a decision for a lawyer, not for us.

Do I need to have registered my copyright?

Not to send a notice. Copyright exists the moment you write or photograph something. Registration matters if you ever want statutory damages in court, and it changes how we assemble the ownership evidence, which is why that case is priced one rung higher.

Are you a law firm?

No. We act as your authorised agent on your instructions, for work you own, and we file notices. We do not give legal advice. If a matter needs a lawyer, we will say so plainly rather than take the case.

Why would I not just do this myself?

You can, and we publish the tools to do it: the scanner, the host lookup and the notice generator are all free with no account. What you are paying for is finding the right designated agent, assembling the ownership evidence, writing a notice that cannot be dismissed on a technicality, chasing the host, and carrying the § 512(f) exposure of signing it.
